Members of the Dusk Raiders are ranked as follows:
Raider
This rank is for those that are willing and committed to raiding full time. Raiders will be given preference in signing up for scheduled guild events, and will also have preference when loot is distributed. However, this comes with additional responsibilities and the highest level of commitment to Dusk Raiders.
The minimum requirements for being promoted to Raider:
-Attendance: - Commit to an full raid schedule, Monday-Friday 8PM-11:30PM Pacific Time Zone - The raid schedule is published on this site, and includes everything scheduled between Monday and Friday.....not just the "Raids". Anything scheduled from Monday - Friday is either a raid or an activity necessary to advancing the raid. -Attunement: - You must maintain and advance your attunements with the raid. - The only current "attunement" necessary is level 80. - These must be maintained accurately on this site. Udate your profile daily, this is easily done using the newest guildbank mod with executable!
- Class Specs: - You must be a spec that is needed by the raid. Some specs are not needed by the raid and some raid roles are just done better by other classes. - The spec requirements may change as we advance through new content, you must be willing to change if needed to adapt to the current raid environment.
- Interview: - You will have an interview with your class leader, raid leader, & guildmaster. They will discuss the requirements and what you have to do to meet the above requirements.
These guidelines speak to the raid as a whole and do not address specific classes or people. Additional class requirements will made by the class leaders. Additional requirements/exceptions for individuals will be made by the guild master.
If you want to raid or want to continue your raiding, please work on the following:
1) Level 80 2) Quest and 5 man Dungeon drops 2) Heroic 5 mans for badge gear and heroic drops 3) Crafting skills maximized 4) PvP events for gear and skill development
A raider shall:
1. Seek gear improvements that will increase their success in raids. 2. Demonstrate exemplary raid attendance, being on time and ready to go. 3. Sign up for raids in a timely manner. 4. If a raid sign up is retracted, your class leader and/or the raid leader will be informed in a timely manner. 5. Demonstrate cooperation, and willingness to improve. 6. Read raid strategies and check the guild web site daily.
Initiate
An Initiate is someone who has applied to Dusk Raiders with the intent of becoming a raider. Their application has been accepted and they are invited to join Dusk Raiders for a two week probation period. During this probation period, their performance on raids will be evaluated, and if found acceptable, they will be promoted to raider. If their raid performance is unacceptable, they may be promoted to adventurer where they will work on improving their gear and skills until they can be promoted to raider.
No epic items will be awarded for this two week period, but dkp will be earned and can be spent after this two week probation. If epic items are not taken by any Dusk Raider, then the initiate may spend dkp on that noncontested item.
Adventurer
This rank is for people who wish to be a part of Dusk Raiders but are either unable to maintain a full raid schedule, or there are no raid spots available, or their gear or skills may not be up to the standards expected of raiders who participate in our 25 man progression raids. Many adventurers are friends or family that enjoy being together. Adventurers may be invited to 25 man progression raids to fill in. Adventurers may sign up for other guild events. Adventurers will earn dkp at the same rate as raiders when they participate, but they will receive lower priority on loot distribution.
Adventurers who wish to become raiders must discuss this with the appropriate class leader, the raid leader, and/or the guildmaster. They must improve their gear and skills to the standard expected of raiders, and must monitor the guild recruitment notices for any openings in our 25 man progression raids. If they feel they are qualified for an opening, they must make this known to the appropriate class leader so they can be considered along with other applicants. There is no guarantee that there will ever be space available in our 25 man progression raids.
